Job Description & Requirements

Opportunity and Role: 

With the 2019 release of the Revved Carbon Technology Platform, demand has skyrocketed and the company is expanding not only its manufacturing capabilities but is also still pushing the limits on how to make mountain bikes even more awesome. The R&D efforts and the advancement of the manufacturing technology platform is ongoing and continuous. Guerrilla Gravity is looking for a CAD Designer to help develop new production molds, advanced R&D tooling design, and various other CAD related tasks. He or she will work closely with our engineering team to problem solve and create new tooling solutions to increase production efficiency and establish best practices on CAD data management.

Skill sets and Requirements:
  • Ability to read and create accurate engineering drawings with basic GD&T understanding
  • Proficient understanding of PDM/PLM software
  • At least 5 years of experience, but if you are exceptionally bright and perform at an advanced ability with less experience, you are still welcome to apply
  • CAD and PDM administrator experience
    Experience with Alias, Rhino, or similar
  • Experience or thorough understanding of CAM programming of CNC multi axis mills and/or lathes
  • CAD surfacing knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of CNC machine tools, multi axis milling machines and lathes
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Attention to detail in everything you do with an obsession with quality, organization, and efficiency
  • Comfortable operating in an intense, fast-paced environment to deliver exceptional results
  • Drive to create and continually improve systems
  • High level of mechanical aptitude
  • Has good instincts--when you suggest approaches that nobody on the team has thought of, it immediately strikes everyone as obvious
  • Has a Funny Bone: We like people who have a sense of humor. We do like to have fun and poke fun at each other
  • Located in Denver Metro Area (position is based out of the Shredquarters)
