Job Description & Requirements
The candidate would be responsible for the sales of hard goods and would oversee rental, tuning and repair departments. Assist in maintaining inventory levels and inventory control in hard goods as well as help with ordering and re-ordering of products in all categories. Training staff may be required as well.
We are an exclusive specialty shop in southern Vermont. We carefully hand pick all of the brands that we sell. We were established in the early 60’s.
Requirements:
= 3-5 years of ski and bike retail experience
= Vast knowledge of ski, binding, boot and bike technology
= Strong understanding of customer service as it is of the utmost importance to us
= Needs to work well with our vendors
= Will assist lead buyer in selecting and purchasing hard goods and accessories
= Some physical requirements, for example carrying heavy boxes and moving fixtures and equipment
= Keep current on consumer insight and industry trends
= QuickBooks Point of Sale experience helpful
= Weekends and holidays required, especially during winter season
= Robotic tuning experience is helpful
