About this role
The Sales Analytics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating Sales department reporting and systems-related objectives. This includes inter-departmental communication/decisions to ensure that Sales is meeting strategic, revenue and customer experience goals. The position represents the sales department on cross functional/departmental teams.
A successful candidate for this role must be a passionate and proactive visionary. Someone who strives for continuous process improvement, loves digging into numbers, is obsessed with providing exceptional service, and is an extremely well organized, detail-oriented, quality-minded individual. Efficiency and precise communication are essential.
What you will do
- Reporting: Generate and maintain standard daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal reports, run ad-hoc reports as needed, develop new reporting tools to support Sales Management decision making. Sales reporting shall be designed/implemented with growth and flexibility in mind.
- Sales and Product Forecasting: This includes monthly, seasonal, annual and long-term forecasting models. Coordinate with Head of Sales, Sales Management, Finance and Product team to meet seasonal forecasting deadlines. Maintain strict version control of sales forecasts and reports. Monitor and communicate sales goal progress.
- Annual Budget: Work closely with Head of Sales and Managers to create and monitor annual expenses and sales goals.
- Sell Through reporting and communication: Analyze sell through data and disseminate actionable and useful intel for sales and product teams.
- Systems + Sales Tools: Coordinate cross-departmentally to create + implement tools to drive Sales and Sell-Through. This includes but is not limited to: Order Form creation and distribution, B2B implementation, etc.
- SAP/BI: Data extraction, price management, etc. = Training: Maintain and/or roll out new procedures/training programs for Reps, Distributors, and Internal Sales staff as it relates to Reporting, Systems, etc.
- Work with team to build/improve processes that maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve on cross-functional/departmental process improvement team, representing Sales. Customer Service: Work with CS to address questions or concerns of internal/external sales team.
What you should bring to the table
- Advanced Excel: Pivot tables, Excel queries, Macros, data mining, complex formulas, etc. Ability to understand priority needs of key accounts, the overall company priorities and be willing to adjust tasks as necessary or when directed.
- Ability to understand / interpret a financial statement, and the key performance indicators (KPI?s) that drive business growth / profitability.
- Ability and excitement to take on complex issues.
- Information Systems: Collaborate with IS team to build and improve sales reporting, data consistency, order forms and rep/customer interface.
- Calendar adherence
- * Demonstrated proficiency and efficiency with computers and a strong interest in learning more.

- * Must be able to think outside the box and offer suggestions on project implementation and improvement.
- Cloud-based systems: SharePoint, Dropbox, Power BI, etc. Ability to multi-task and work in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- 4-year college degree (or equivalent work experience).
- Required: Minimum 5 years work experience in a related position.
- Preferred: Sales and retail experience in the Outdoor industry. Enjoys being in the outdoors.
