Is this you?  Our Business Development Analyst is a data wizard.  You not only know how to mine data, you know how to turn it into useful tools that drive intelligent business decisions.  Once you have conducted the necessary research to compile the data, it’s not enough to simply report your findings.  Instead, we want you to use your experience and skills to give meaning to the data and apply it to our business for our sales, marketing and product teams.     

What will your typical day be?

=        Research and report on historical products as well as new products and trends

=        Communicate directly with our National Sales Manager, and inside and outside sales teams the sales opportunities you identified in the data

=        Brainstorm with our Marketing Manager to find and implement data driven marketing strategies and promotions that drive sales

=        Competitor analysis

=        Research and apply data to help drive sales, product and pricing strategies for our eComm accounts

=        Provide purchasing and forecasting with data to support or challenge inventory decisions

What skills do you need to demonstrate?

=        Self-motivation, goal oriented, and you thrive off constant analysis and improvement

=        Ability to switch between the bigger picture of the company as a whole and evaluating small and detailed pieces of data

=        5 or more years’ experience in business driven analytics or a similar analytics driven field. 

=        Collaboration skills

=        Unparalleled interpersonal and communication skills

=        Ability to develop and maintain relationships with others in our business

=        Positive attitude

=        Good knowledge of or a passion for cycling or the outdoor industry is a plus but not necessary

=        Are you a go to person when others have Excel questions?

 This position would be located in one of our US based offices (preferably Lexington, South Carolina but could also be in Sparks, Nevada).
