Customer Service Representative – Aire/Outcast Sporting Gear
Job Summary
The customer service representative (CSR) is responsible for providing superior customer service to both wholesale customers and end users. The position calls for the individual to be customer focused with the understanding that customer satisfaction is our primary goal. Positive demeanor, flexibility and willingness to help in anyway are needed to succeed in our small, dynamic team environment. Taking initiative and making independent decisions is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
= Provide high level of customer service to specialty dealers, warranty issues, and pro-purchase customers.
= Be an expert on product use, product specs, basic service issues and pricing for all Outcast and Aire boats and accessories.
= Process orders received from B2B web sites, email and call in orders. Orders must be entered accurately and timely. All orders to be shipped the day after received
= Process any returns which will include creating Return Authorization number (RMA) in MAS, and return labels as needed.
= Be proficient using MAS. CSR must be able to enter orders, create RMAs, locate tracking information and providing basic account information while interacting with customer via headset.
= Proactively resolve customer issues.
Additional Duties
= Handle warranty calls and order processing.
= Assist wholesale reps with sales orders, warranty orders, and customer call backs.
= Assist accounting department with prepay orders.
= Assist with “info@” emails by 10:00am deadline each day.
= Manage all key, guide and pro-form orders.
= Handle overflow calls from Aire inside sales team.
Qualifications
= Minimum of 2 years customer service and data entry experience.
= College degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
= Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
= Possess excellent interpersonal, organization,verbal and written communication skills.
= Must be able to work with distressed customers and possess stress management and conflict management skills.
= Typing skills of 40 words per-minute.
= Must be a team player and able to multi-task.
= Must be reliable, punctual and flexible, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professionalism in person and on the phone.
= Able to enter new data, analyze and edit existing data, and proof read entries in database for accuracy and correct errors.
= Ability to learn new procedures and follow current procedures and best practices, prioritize and work with deadlines.
= Passionate about the outdoors. Fishing experience and whitewater boating a plus.
