Western Colorado University invites applications for the part time position of Program Coordinator in the Outdoor Industry MBA (OI-MBA) program. This is a 32 hour/week position that reports to the OI-MBA Program Director.
 Duties:
The Outdoor Industry MBA (OI-MBA) Program Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the OI-MBA Program and will manage OI-MBA student enrollment throughout the student lifecycle from admission through graduation. This position will compile data on admissions and enrollment trends and assist in the implementation of marketing and recruiting strategies. This position will counsel prosopective students on admissions requirements, advise enrolled students on program requirements, and coordinate student registration.  This position will make all program purchases, track expenditures and report on balances.  Using the Banner student information system, this position will schedule MBA courses, input faculty assignments and draft contract recommendations. This position will implement all communication and logistics for the OI-MBA immersions and other official functions.  The position will handle all clerical responsibilities for the OI-MBA program, incluing filing, phone/email communications, mailings, posting syllabi, etc.
 Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations, the University community, and the public.  Must be willing to work some weekends and evenings and travel as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications:  Exemplary oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Banner and Hobsons Radius, or similar platforms. Prior experience in higher education administration desirable.
 Additional Application Information:
Compensation:  $19.23/hour, FLSA non-exempt.  Position is eligible for an excellent benefits package including health and dental insurance plans with low co-pays and low out of pocket maximums, generous paid time off, a shared contribution retirement plan and tuition benefits.
