About the Role: We are looking for an eCommerce Leader to join our GORE Wear team in Bozeman, Montana. US remote location will also be considered. Responsibilities: 
  • Driving short and long-term plans to implement the channel strategy that supports the multi-channel strategy, including, goal setting and execution for the end to end brand eCommerce experience in line with overall GORE Wear goals
  • Implementing the Loyalty Business Plan – a comprehensive eCommerce strategy that brings in new consumers and drives loyalty with existing consumers
  • Partnering with Product, Sales Channels, Marketing and Creative Teams to develop the annual channel plan, monitor performance across channels and drive necessary changes to meet and exceed targets
  • Collaborating with leadership to resource a team to support a launch and learn approach eCommerce – through balance of internal hires and external resources; This includes merchandising, acquisition & retention, digital marketing, and site coordinator roles
  • Leading the eCommerce team to align the consumer experience across merchandising, onsite experience, sales, digital marketing, brand, and other cross-functional partners
  • Working with the content and creative team to deliver the brand experience at all online touchpoints
  • Continuous tracking of eCommerce and marketing metrics to identify opportunities, fixing weaknesses and improving the overall consumer experience and business results
  • Leading RFP and selection efforts for 3rd party eCommerce integrations allowing for the defined brand consumer experience
  • Monitoring competitive websites, industry trends and new technology and digital services ensuring that the brand is able to execute best practices
  • Being responsible for development of global best practices to enable local teams to develop their local eCommerce business as effectively as possible
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years of proven eCommerce experience with experience leading in a premium consumer goods brand team
  • Experience meeting or exceeding P&L goals while optimizing the consumer experience
  • Experience developing annual channel plans and leading daily implementation
  • Experience analyzing data to inform an improved user experience on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Experience working through and managing the totality of an eCommerce ecosystem i.e. – Merchandising, UX, platform IT, development, digital marketing, customer service, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent team building, influencing, and interpersonal skills proven to effectively collaborate internally and externally
  • Proven team leader and self-starter
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Marketing or Business degree (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 3+ years experience leading eCommerce/ digital teams and understanding of global eCommerce needs
  • Experience in the outdoor or sporting goods industry
