The sales manager is responsible for managing and executing Pau Hana Surf Supplys sales goals and processes.
Objectives:
- Capture orders, fill them, and ensure payment .
- Nurture existing long-term customer relationships and actively develop new long-term customers .
- Manage and assist existing sales reps and recruit/develop good reps for new territories .
- Grow dealer network with only high quality partners
Skills and Requirements:
- Sales, Logistics, Quickbooks, Spreadsheets
- Experience dealing with large retailers
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects under a tight deadline
- Ability to time manage and problem solve
- Strong attention to detail . Ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Great communication skills and a talent for collaboration
- In-Depth Proficiency with Quickbooks Enterprise
- Proficiency with invoicing
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and manipulating data
- Strong understanding of outdoor culture
- Ability to analyze information and problem solve as well as being able to prioritize your daily workload
- Substantial knowledge and understanding of Sales, inventory management, logistics, accounting
- Prior experience in a small company environment
- Outdoor industry specific experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- BA/BS required
Primary Responsibilities
- Generate and collect orders
- Monitors accounts receivable for on-time payment from shipped order
- Manage sales force of reps Forecasts sales and accessory orrders
- Coordinates sales fulfillment and logistitics
- Calculates and Reports Rep Commissions on the 1st of the Month for the previous month
- Performs Vetting of new dealers
- Maintains yearly dealer agreements for active dealers
Secondary Responsibilities
- Provide customer support - answers retail questions
- Attend international and regional trade shows when needed
- Works cooperatively with channel partners to establish sales and marketing goals for territory and key accounts
- Research target sales segments and channels in assigned territories and develop recommendations for actions to the organization based on this information.
- Assess performance of current channel partners and recommend changes where needed
- Identify short and long term opportunities for sales expansion and develops sales plans and execution
- Identify and call on key accounts / distributors to build positive relationships and ensure customer sales, service and marketing performance meet Pau Hanafs expectations
- Work with channel partners and Pau Hana marketing department to develop and implement promotions and marketing initiatives
- Keep abreast of social, cultural and governmental issues that impact Pau Hanafs business in assigned territories
