  We bring together millions of buyers and sellers around the world for cycling purchases on our cycling dedicated marketplaces. 

In February 2021 BikeExchange listed on the ASX (BEX: ASX) as part of its strategy to grow and scale the business globally. This phase of the business is an exciting chapter of growth  and as a result, we are looking for an Account Executive to join us in further expanding our network of retailers and brands within the North American market. 

This is the start of a very exciting ride for us! 



Job Description:

The account executive will work with a team of highly motivated business development professionals in the expansion of our retail and brand partnerships. The successful candidate will have a proven background in quota carrying sales and be a member of a quickly growing team of business development professionals that leave their egos at the door. The account executive will be responsible for making outbound calls and in store visits to prospective bicycle retailers and converting them into paying subscribers.  The individual seeking this position should feel very comfortable handling objections over the phone and in person. They should be able to make a high volume of outbound calls to set appointments and close deals. The successful candidate will be required to use our internal CRM software in an ongoing and detailed manner in order to ensure overall success.

  • You champion our global BEX vision, mission and targets and foster a strong belief that we’ll achieve these

  • Be part of a global sales team that makes BikeExchange the destination people go to for all things bike.

  • You are happy to be coached and guided to continuously refine your craft and raise your bar

  • You are a true team player and work closely not only with the sales success team and other regional sales team members to smash your regional targets.

 


Qualifications

4+ years sales experience

Based in USA

Ideal, but not required:

  • Experience calling on bike shops (i.e. working for a brand or distributor in the cycling space)

  • Experience in sales or business development.  

  • Experience cold calling contacts.

  • Experience selling marketing or advertising

  • Hubspot CRM background

  • Four year degree


Compensation

Base salary commensurate with experience. Target earnings 60/40 mix of base salary and target bonus.
