Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a creative, highly-driven person to join our marketing team in the Northwest. The right candidate must live within commuting distance of our satellite office in Bozeman, Montana or be willing to relocate. You will work in coordination with three other Marketing Specialists and be supervised by the Marketing Director located at our corporate office in Illinois. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting our Land Specialists in the western half of the county with the creation and implementation of their marketing campaigns throughout the year in the agent's assigned territory. Marketing campaigns consist of but are not limited to direct mail pieces, ad placement, and social media; therefore we are looking for someone that is knowledgable about these things in Montana and the surrounding western states.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling marketing meetings and ad postings
• Assist with company magazine layout and ad/listing placements
• Act as a liaison between national office and nationwide Land Specialist staff for all things related to marketing and public relations
• Work closely with Land Specialists and creative department on all local, state, and national print advertising
• Write, edit and distribute press releases for local/regional level media relations efforts
• Write and edit a variety of online content
• Assist new Land Specialists with public relations and marketing efforts as Whitetail Properties grows into new territories
• Help produce and distribute regular eNewsletter communications
• Assist in marketing research and analysis
• Create and administer surveys, questionnaires, and other information gathering
• Support marketing team with various other projects and duties as assigned
• Coordinate account set up and use of electronic storefront with printing and outdoor related advertising companies  ?

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with Land Specialists, sponsorship customers, and internal staff within a timely manner
• Keep detailed and accurate records regarding Land Specialist marketing plans
• Experience with magazine layout, editing, and proofing
• Comfortable with speaking with a wide age range of individuals
• Experience with a wide variety of electronic account set ups
• Highly organized and detailed
• Highly efficient at multi-tasking
• Ability to professionally confront and address issues as they occur
• Public Relations experience preferred
• Able to operate Mac, Microsoft operating systems fluently
