Job Summary
Accurate Fishing Products was founded in 1990 specializing in 100% American made saltwater fishing tackle. We are the leading reel manufacturing in the fishing industry. All of our products are manufactured in our factory.
Responsibilities and Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production forecast and part work flow
- Assembly lead and problem solver
- Lead reel engineer
- Proven ability to effectively lead in an operational environment.
- Manages the day to day operations of assigned areas through the direct supervision of employees
- Prioritizes work, oversees progress and takes corrective action as required
- Interfaces with other departments as required to ensure that production stays on schedule and to resolve work order discrepancies
- Assembly training
- Good understanding of mechanical issues and ability to problem solve
- Oversees quality control
- Makes changes and improvements as required
- Work with outside vendors with purchase orders and deliveries
- May provide work direction and support to Inventory and Quality Control areas
- Continually monitors line for productivity and quality improvements
- Monitors assembly processes to identify productivity and quality improvements
Qualifications and Skills

- One year of demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing setting required
Other Skills:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Thorough knowledge of all machining equipment and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of machining and production processes
