Camfour is Hiring Sales Representatives

Camfour is actively hiring experienced and successful sales representatives to accelerate its growth.  The goals of this position are to increase sales to existing and new dealers.

Established in 1952 as an outdoor products distribution business in Massachusetts, Camfour, Inc. is a major distributor of firearms and ammunition to independent retail sporting goods stores and firearms dealers in the U.S.  The company operates out of two facilities in Westfield, MA and Pflugerville, TX.

The goals of this position are to:      

  • Generate sales from existing customer contacts
  • Identify new customer opportunities and sign them as Camfour customers
  • Increase the average sales per dealer
  • Proactively manage 100 to 150 customer accounts

The main responsibilities for this position are:

  • Proactively plan and call existing customers to increase average annual sales
  • Actively prospect for and develop customers
  • Build a trusting relationship with each customer
  • Manage each customer’s orders, deliveries, and credit
  • Visit select customers when applicable

Required Qualifications

  • General firearms and shooting sports knowledge
  • Highly motivated: aggressive attitude to both find and grow account by actively calling and prospecting
  • Strong sales abilities
  • Technically savvy (computer skills like MS Excel and ERP systems)
  • Ability to build relationships quickly over the phone
  • Ability to work from a Camfour location or a home office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work from a Camfour location or a home office
  • 2+ years of experience selling shooting sport products specifically firearms, ammunition, and accessories
  • Bachelor’s degree in business
  • Established account base over $4M

Compensation is a combination of base and commission with NO CAP ON EARNINGS!  Camfour offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes paid holidays, earned time off, health, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) options.
