Looking for an adventure? Powder Hound is looking for an experienced bike mechanic.
The position is in Girdwood, Alaska - and housing is available!
What We're Looking For:
Professional, hard-working individuals to work in an active, fun ski and bike shop. Necessary skills include: sales, attention to detail, use of computers, renting and maintaining bike equipment, and exceptional customer service skills. We are looking for an individual to be able to complete high level repairs such as, but not limited to, suspension service, wheel repair/build, hydraulic brake/dropper systems, electronic shifting and diagnostics, internally geared hub service, suspension set up, basic bike sizing and complete bicycle overhauls and the ability to use outside resources to obtain technical information. Knowledge of warranty, crash replacement, outside vendor criteria and utilizing our dealer's resources to service our customer's needs and equipment. Expertise in MTB, Road, Cross, and E-bike technology is requested. Furthering education in Industry related areas is encouraged. Housing Available for qualifying participants (please no cats).
This is a full time seasonal position and will begin Mid June(with some flexibility) to October 1st.
If you have experience as a ski technician or in the ski industry, this position can be full time and year round.
