About the Role:

The Duck Company is seeking a highly driven results-oriented Associate Territory Manager who will engage in strategic partnership development and execution of The Duck’s sales and brand strategy within existing territories and accounts across North America, and the Caribbean.

The ideal candidate will be able to create and execute a sales plan that is geared toward a customer and across a defined territory. Must be eager to work in a fast-paced sales environment, which includes planning, telling a holistic story, traveling to the markets, and driving sell-through. You will join a collaborative team who will provide resources and tools to help elevate additional opportunities.

Salary Range: Base Salary of $35,000 + Commission– (start with well-established current accounts) with an annual earning potential $60,000 - $95,000 within your first year, no caps'. Additional $2000 per month Training Stipend during your first ninety days.

What you’ll do:

  • This position requires 50% travel time visiting customers in market
  • Collaborate with regional sales directors and other sales team members to develop and execute the sales plan for each customer with a region/territory.
  • Increase revenue and market share with existing customers in defined territory
  • Assess customers’ business needs and advise on best solutions
  • Overcome customer objections or concerns as necessary
  • Creates and submits sales orders.
  • Seek out and close new business opportunities
  • Use creative and persistent methods to prospect and generate new business opportunities
  • Serve as a consultative resource to customers regarding service offerings, market trends, industry standards and effectively provide quotes considering all variable factors
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • The willingness to learn the DUCK WAY of selling and working with customers.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.

Mental/Physical Requirements: While in the office this position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. While traveling, this position requires the incumbent to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, sitting for long periods.
