Summary of Position

The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for managing the product portfolio and executing the product promotion strategy through our ecommerce channels. You will need at least 3 years of ecommerce portfolio management, along with technical/data maintenance, and digital marketing experience. Ability to own the data maintenance function, glean insights from analytics, present findings and action plans, and perform SEO are a must.

 

Interest in recreational or competitive shooting sports and relevant work history within this industry is a major plus. This background will allow for quick assimilation into the role, enhance your ability to story tell, bring relevant content and promotion ideas to the table, and help build a tight connection with our customers. Candidates with relevant work history and/or recreational/competitive experience will be given higher consideration.

 

You must be fearless when it comes to new challenges and learning, think from a strategic level, and you are always ready and willing to roll up your sleeves along with us and dig into the day-to-day duties to move us forward.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to meet goals and adhere to timelines
• Perform site audits, keyword analysis, and SEO processes
• Own the data maintenance function and are responsible for data preparation, processing and optimization of the product portfolio on our CommerceV3 eCommerce platform
• Own digital analytics and reporting for eCommerce and web
• Support campaigns and communications for new product launches and brand promotions
• Collaborate with Team on eCommerce, social and digital marketing planning
• Participate in comparative shopping analysis

• Bring the Voice of the Customer into the planning and feedback loop
• Other duties as assigned

 

 

Requirements and Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field

·         Work experience within, or at a minimum interest and participation in, the shooting sports industry highly preferred

·         3+ years ecommerce / digital marketing experience

·         Ability to operate in a data oriented/technical environment

·         Comfortable with light HTML work

·         Experience with digital marketing tools such as SEMRush, AHREFs, Screaming Frog preferred

·         High comfortable level with analytics: ecommerce / SEO / Google

Work Environment

Type: Commuter, non-remote

Location: This position is located at our home office in Anniston, Alabama.

Typical Work Hours and Shifts: Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 pm with occasional additional hours or weekend work as required

Occasional but rare overnight domestic travel may be required

Ability to sit for extended periods

Ability to work on computer/screens for an extended time

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
