Midwest Outdoor & Alpine Account Manager
Midwest Based | Travel Required
Parallel 45 Sales Group
Join a passionate, outdoors-driven sales team representing Outdoor and Alpine ski brands (Mountain Hardwear, Scarpa, Faction, Exped & more) across the Midwest. We’re looking for a high-energy Account Manager to represent our leading Outdoor brands. You’ll lead product presentations, build retailer relationships, drive sales, and manage our Minneapolis showroom—all while getting outside and using the gear yourself.
In this role, you will:
- Build Retailer Relationships
Grow and support retail accounts by fostering strong partnerships. Lead engaging in-store clinics and deliver compelling, hands-on education around our vendors’ products.
- Drive Sales & Strategy
Identify new business opportunities, deliver impactful sales presentations, and provide insights on market trends to fuel strategic growth.
- Host Events & Create Community
Represent our brands at trade shows, consumer events, and in-store activations. Collaborate with local nonprofits and help build a thriving outdoor community.
- Lead the Showroom
Manage our Minneapolis-based showroom alongside our team—organize samples, host retailer meetings, and create an inviting, brand-forward space.
- Execute Visual Merchandising
Install point-of-purchase (POP) displays, refresh floor sets, and train retail teams to execute premium product presentation and storytelling.
What You Bring
- A love for outdoor adventures.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Great with people: relational, trustworthy, and authentic
- Detail-oriented and organized, with solid multitasking chops
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable, road-ready vehicle
- Willingness to travel regularly, including some nights & weekends
