Job Description & Requirements
Ski Country Outdoors is seeking Part & Full time employees to work in Apparel sales, Equipment sales, tuning, and rentals areas, in our Charlotte, Banner Elk, and Asheville locations. We strive to bring our community the best selection of Ski & Snowboard equipment, outdoor apparel, footwear and accessories year round. We are a full service Ski & Snowboard shop including sales, rentals, repairs, custom boot fitting and modifications. Ski Country Outdoors stocks one of the largest selections of winter sport hard goods in the Southeast; as well as maintains a staff of highly trained and skilled boot fitters/ski technicians to provide our customers with the high quality experience they deserve. Applicants need to be confident and comfortable with customer interaction and prefer a team relationship with co-workers. Outdoor industry and/or sales experience is a plus, but not a must. Ski Country Outdoors has a reputation for having a friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. We are looking for people that can help enhance that experience and enjoy coming to work.
Qualifications:
- Applicants should possess full day to day ski shop sales, service, and rental operational knowledge
- Custom boot fitting, modifications and repair shop experience is preferred but not necessary
- Previous experience in retail, fashion, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong passion to grow their knowledge for their position
- Have a self-driven mindset
- Able to work nights and weekends
