Mission: To create joy and heal generations Lake House Academy (LHA) is a 36-bed therapeutic boarding school focused on meeting the needs of middle school girls between the ages of 12-16 years old overcome a range of mental health and academic barriers. Lake House students receive holistic therapeutic services with outcome-driven and researched-backed methods rooted in a relationship model and utilize outdoor experiential activities to drive healing. LHA students live in a safe, nurturing, healthy, home-like residential environment and sits on a tranquil lake nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, allowing students to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and focus on healing.
