The Jetboil Story
Frustrated with heavy vacuum bottles and clunky stoves,
Jetboil founders Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst set out
in 2003 to simplify outdoor cooking.

They discovered that the key to maximizing convenience
and efficiency lay in combining heat transfer technology
with innovative design. Alternating between their lab and
the mountains, Dwight & Perry evolved their idea into a
new product that was a total rethink of mobile cooking, and
premiered their new FluxRing® technology and integrated
approach.

The result was the Personal Cooking System (PCS), launched
in 2004 to instant acclaim from magazines and adventurers
worldwide. This revolutionary product combines heating,
eating and drinking all in the same insulated cup which
integrates directly with a burner for fast no-fuss use. An
insulating bottom cover allows the cup to be removed from
the burner and immediately held in your hands to eat or
drink.

Jetboil expanded its product line in 2011 with a family of innovative integrated products offering extended functionality for everything from the trailside coffee to gourmet and group
cooking.
