Ski Country Sports began in 1983 in the mountains of Banner Elk, North Carolina. Our roots were humble, and we’ve grown since then, but our vision that drives us is still clear: to provide the best outdoor gear in the world and to be the best at doing it. In our 35 years of business, we have expanded to Boone, Asheville, and Charlotte, NC. With these locations we have been able to expand our year round merchandise and services into the biking, rafting, hiking, trail running, and general outdoor apparel avenues.
