Higher Gear began in 1993 and has always reached out to both families and enthusiasts.
The retail location is in Plaza del Lago, 1515 Sheridan Road in Wilmette, Illinois, and features some of the most historic brands in cycling including Specialized, Seven, Salsa, Surly, Linus and Bianchi. The Wilmette is ready to go through an expansion where the retail size will increase by nearly 50% in Q4 2014 to include both a pro fit area and a Computrainer studio in the winter months.

associates. We don’t care what your cycling credentials are, we’re just
interested in finding the right bike for you and your family. We work
hard to ensure that our staff is comprised of approachable experts that
