Company Description
Ambler is a family-owned hat and accessory company based in Nelson, British Columbia. We started making hats over 20 years ago when Peter Ambler was selling fleece hats out of the back of his car to fund his climbing and skiing habit.
We're a little bit more sophisticated these days but the intentions and desires remain the same as when Peter started it all. We make hats for the whole family to enjoy life's adventures in. We follow fair trade practices in producing our knit hats and sweaters in Nepal and Peru and we make our entire summer collection right here in British Columbia.
We're a small business with a focus on working with and supporting other small businesses who are trying to make a difference in the status quo.
