Company Description
For 20 years, North Star Adventure (NSA), a program of Health and Education Services has facilitated adventure-based socialization and therapeutic groups for a variety of at-risk and special-needs populations. NSA’s clients include the Massachusetts Department of Social Services, the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, The Massachusetts Department of Youth Services, public schools, and members of the Massachusetts Association of Alternative Private Schools. Using activities ranging from rock-climbing and canoeing to cooperative games and challenge course elements, NSA customizes programs to run as one-day retreats, overnight expeditions, after-school programs, or as on-going elements of an existing curriculum or individualized plan.
