Western Mountaineering has been manufacturing high quality down sleeping bags in San Jose, CA since 1970. Our brand and the products we make are designed for lightweight backpacking enthusiasts and through hikers of the three long-distance trails in America (the PCT, the CDT, and the AT). We use the finest raw materials in the world and remain committed to high quality by producing as much as possible at our own sewing factory. Now with almost 50 years in business, we are proud that nearly all of our products are still Made in USA.
