Papa Wheelie's Bicycles is a small but busy bike shop on the beautiful Western Slope of Colorado. We take pride in being the Western Slope's hub for cycling education and ispiration. We are advocates of the Trek Bicycles brand, and we mostly carry their products. Mountain, road, comfort, and cruiser bikes are the categories we stock. Pedal assist bikes in each of these categories is also a growing segment for us.
For those that love to ride, there are many miles of gravel and paved roads with plenty of climbing if you like. Within 30 minutes of the shop, there is numerous miles of singletrack from easy to advanced. In the winter, you can ride groomed fatbike terrain in the morning and take a road ride on dry roads in the afternoon. On average, with only 79 days of moisture and 245 days of sun, Montrose is a great place to work, live and play!
