Chainwheel Drive is looking for a Buyer to join our team who will be responsible for purchasing and managing the inventory for our stores 2 locations. We are a 46-year-old business that has been consistently recognized as one of America’s leading bike shops.
Primary Job Functions
- Establish favorable relationships with our vendors
- Work with our team to establish an annual product mix
- Develop and maintain various computer files in order to manage our inventory
- Manage and analyze our inventory performance to ensure profitability and provide an exciting store environment for our customers
- Place orders as needed and coordinate arrival dates with our team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Distribute product between locations
- Provide our team ongoing training on the products you purchase
- Maintain the products on our website that you are responsible for
- Assist with product layout and merchandising of the sales floor
- Assist in the sales effort as needed
Associated Skills
- Computer literate and experience with excel spread sheets
- Good communication skill
- Organized with attention to details and follow though
- Ability to focus on obtaining goals
- Cycling enthusiast with knowledge of the bicycle market
- A Self starter and willing team player
