About the Role:  W. L. Gore is looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our SITKA@ Gear team in Bozeman, Montana.

Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing day-to-day store operations
• Managing store P&L and achieving targets by meeting/exceeding sales and cost of goods sold goals and managing labor and other operating expenses
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through an engaging experience and excellent service
• Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Organizing tore operations and scheduling and allocating responsibilities to asst. managers, sales associates and cashiers
• Helping recruit, train, coach, mentor and provide feedback to a service-driven and high performing team
• Analyzing sales reports and stock levels and collaborating with buying team on fill-in and futures orders
• Overseeing management and movement of the store's inventory to reduce cost of goods sold and shrinkage
• Overseeing in-store promotional events or displays
• Keeping abreast of market trends and local competition to determine the need for improvements in the store
• Ensuring the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
• Preparing regular reports (KPIs, stock levels, buying trends, customer needs and feedback, etc.) 

Required Qualifications: 

• At least a BS or BA degree in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of store management consumer apparel, footwear or accessories retail experience
• Hired and trained a retail staff of at least 25 associates
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with ELS and other retail management systems
• Proven experience building and maintaining a store promotional calendar
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive customer and consumer experience focused
• Willingness to relocate to Bozeman, MT

• Previous experience opening brand new stores
