HydraPak branded hydration products are available at specialty Outdoor stores worldwide, including REI, Sports Basement, and Amazon.
Based in Oakland, California, we are a group of highly-motivated enthusiasts who are lucky enough to be able to combine work with our shared passion for recreation and product applications. If you are looking to make a difference in a casual, team-oriented atmosphere, and share our love for the outdoors, this may be the right fit for you. Some of our perks include a dog friendly office, free product testing, access to pro-deals from other Outdoor companies, subsidized health/dental insurance, 401k with employer contribution, and paid vacation.
The Senior Engineer Manager will lead and supervise the company’s Engineering department. The department is responsible for leading the technical engineering effort on all projects and products, from product development to production to in-field use.
The department currently consists of six engineers. Two are based in Oakland and are responsible for product specification, production drawings, performance testing and customer compliance. Two are in our Hong Kong office and are responsible for design-to-production implementation, production support and regulatory compliance testing. The remaining two are based in Boulder, Colorado and oversee design-to-production implementation of our US-made squeeze bottles, as well as support for the in-house assembly line and equipment.
The Engineering department works with the New Products department to provide manufacturing and technical input to the product design cycle. As an Original Equipment provider, it is critical that our products are designed with manufacturing in mind to keep them cost effective and robust. The department also works with the Operations department to continually improve our production processes and to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
