Are you well-organized, energetic, friendly and looking to grow in a small-company environment?


We are a small Seattle-based outdoor products manufacturer looking for an experienced shipper to own our daily shipping, receiving and distribution operations across a variety of different wholesale and retail channels including Amazon. You will be the one to ensure orders are shipped accurately and delivered in a timely manner, to receive incoming finished goods, and to keep a 4000’ sq ft warehouse clean and highly organized for efficient fulfillment. During high season you will direct and supervise a warehouse assistant to ensure all orders ship accurately and on time.


This position involves physical work on your feet much of the day - climbing ladders, moving boxes and pallets, and small scale production work while standing- so you need to be comfortable with physical tasks and working fast and accurately with your hands.


Responsibilities include:


Accurately picking & packing product to meet daily shipping deadlines

Using software to track, check, prioritize and route orders

Managing logistics documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.

Receiving finished goods arriving on pallets and in containers 

QC inspections for arriving product

Operating Inventory Management software

Inventory rotation and warehouse organization 

Supervising and efficiently directing one warehouse assistant during high season operations

Occasional small-scale production assembling product components

Understanding and ensuring compliance with vendor manuals and fulfillment requirements



You'll need:


3+ years of prior warehouse and inventory management experience

Expertise in shipping and receiving workflows and best practices

Computer skills including Excel, carrier shipping software, inventory management software

Experience shipping to Amazon, international locations and via EDI

Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and efficient work environment

Confidence communicating professionally with clients, vendors and remotely located coworkers verbally and in writing

Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines without supervision.

Reliable transportation to and from work during regular business hours (car not required)

Seattle resident

Ability to pass a background check

Ability to pass a drug screening test (mj ok)


Hours: Full time 40 hrs/week
