Job Description & Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Experience
o Make customers feel welcome
o Positive attitude
o Provide knowledge/advice that will enhance the customer experience
Product Knowledge
o Have a working knowledge of all the ski and technical gear that we sell and their uses, functions, and limitations
o Learn and develop an understanding of all store policies and procedures
o Product stocking
Procedures
o Understand all store procedures (cash register, warranty and return, special orders, liability release forms)
o Learn repair and installation of equipment (i.e. binding installation) of the following product categories: Alpine Touring, Telemark, Backcountry touring, Alpine ski)
o Ski boot fitting to include punches and grinds
o Working knowledge and certification as required on specific Alpine ski brands
o Complete all necessary paperwork and liability release forms on all repair work as required
o Torque testing of bindings as required
o Maintain store appearance standards

o Mechanical aptitude and work experience
o Have excellent communication Skills
o Demonstrate close attention to detail and manage time effectively
o Have the energy to work effectively on our often busy sales floor
o Ability to multi-task
o Passionate about outdoor sports and activities (skiing, biking, climbing, hiking, etc)
Preferred Personal Characteristics and Skills
o Prior experience as a ski or rental technician
o Bike mechanic experience or certifications
