OPERATIONS MANAGER
Club Ride Apparel was established in 2008 under the vision that cycling apparel could be designed to meet the demands of a bike and outdoor consumer that wants their clothing to do more than go fast or huck far. We are a leading men’s and women’s D2C bike and lifestyle clothing manufacturer for the Ride and Everything After.
We are searching for an Operations Manager in our Hailey, Idaho office.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that that the quality of Club Ride’s products and services meet our discerning customers’ expectations. Specific duties include and will follow lifecycle of product by working with Product Management and CEO in formulating an inventory purchasing and planning strategy based on cash flow and sales goals, scheduling, purchasing and negotiations strategy with overseas factory partners, logistics management with freight forwarder and 3PL for supply chain management and with Marketing on the commercialization strategy.
Candidate will be successful at engaging all partners, employees and departments to make the workplace more effective and efficient. Candidate needs excellent project management, leadership skills, social skills and ability to actively listen. Other qualities include understanding of planning, finances, supply chain management, workflow and staffing.
Responsibilities include:
· Ensure all Club Ride operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
· Evaluate and Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
· Using Netsuite and Shopify create demand planning tools with CEO to help drive forecasting decisions seasonally
· Work with Product team and CEO to purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
· Work customer service, accounting & supply chain partners to ensure best in class shipping and receiving process
· Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
· Manage budgets and forecasts with Sales and Marketing teams
· Work with CEO and Department heads to recruit, train and supervise staff
· Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Education and Experience
· College degree in business administration, commerce or management
· Apparel, Outdoor or Bike Industry relevant production experience
· Experience with Netsuite and Shopify
· Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
· Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
· Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
· Knowledge of project management principles and practices
