Job Summary

The Target Archery Specialist works with the Customer Service Team in delivering exceptional customer service to retailers and archery customers through phone calls, emails, and occasional in person events.

Core Responsibilities:

• Offer technical advice either by phone, fax, written correspondence, or email.
• Respond to inquiries from accounts and consumers regarding products, orders, and account information. Resolve customer problems and complaints. Authorize returns and coordinate with receiving regarding returns.
• Help create additional sales by suggesting add-on items to incoming orders and telling customers about available product that may be helpful to their own customers.
• Communicate with the planning and production departments regarding delivery dates, rush orders, samples, and custom products. Provide input and help improve existing processes.
• Assist with sales and marketing programs as needed for special projects: direct mailings, promotional programs, possible travel to events and competitions, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Strong customer services skills.
• The ability to communicate with a wide variety of people under many circumstances, while maintaining a professional, helpful attitude.
• Ability to work with little supervision and be a self-starter.
• Proven customer service/account management skills.
  • Above average computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and other forms.
  • Strong ability to deal with strict deadlines and multiple tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Extensive archery knowledge or prior experience in a pro shop preferred

• Two years customer service experience dealing with wholesale accounts
