We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of growing national brands at retailers like Academy, Bass Pro, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Scheels among others to join our sales organization as a National Account Manager. Our ideal candidate is someone who has successfully managed national accounts with responsibilities including among others (1) fostering strong relationships with retail buyers, planners and merchandisers, (2) developing collaborative relationships with marketing and product development to develop and implement channel and customer growth initiatives, (3) developing detailed annual plans that outline “how” and “when” objectives will be achieved, (4) coordinating internal & external partners to ensure alignment and timelines are met and (5) delivering results that consistently exceed expectations.


The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement account-specific sales plans that achieve annual objectives
  • Deliver net sales, gross margin and profit objectives for assigned accounts
  • Develop a monthly forecast with Supply Chain that aligns with anticipated demand
  • Develop a merchandising and promotional plan with Marketing & Finance
  • Work with Product Development to develop items that allow Buck to be the category leader
  • Set and manage monthly/quarterly expectations with multiple independent rep agencies
  • Provide the organization with monthly insights on competitor, market & consumer trends
