Job Title: Inside Sales Associate

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales through proactive communication with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs, and promoting our products. This role involves both inbound and outbound calls, as well as the need to travel to local and domestic Sales & Marketing events.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers through inbound and outbound calls to identify sales opportunities and close deals.
  • Assists with submitting orders placed by dealers, distributors, outside sales reps and sales managers
  • Occasionally perform in-person dealer visits to current and prospective dealers
  • Handles all phone calls from retailers and sales managers for warranty and technical issues in a timely fashion
  • Assists with processing warranties and credit memos
  • Follow up on leads and provide additional information to potential customers via email.
  • Understand customer needs and demonstrate the features and benefits of our products.
  • Maintain and update a database of current and potential customers.
  • Stay informed about product updates, as well as competing offers.
  • Research and qualify new leads, and actively upsell products and services to existing customers.
  • Monitor market competition in terms of pricing and services.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to inform them of new pricing, policy changes, and products.
  • Strive to analyze and fulfill client needs while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Promote brand awareness to prospective customers through various communication channels.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Hybrid work environment. Open to 100% remote for the right applicant.
  • 1-3 years of sales and customer service experience in the cycling industry, with a strong understanding of bike components.
  • Must be located Charlotte, NC. Hybrid work environment.
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional phone and cold calling skills, coupled with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to achieve sales targets and work in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to travel locally and domestically for Sales & Marketing events.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency.
