We pioneered the category of Blankets for Everywhere by introducing performance and technical materials to the otherwise boring and stale category of blankets. Rumpl is seeking an Independent Sales Agency Partner in the South Central territory to fuel our explosive brand growth and awareness.
As an Independent Sales Agency Partner with Rumpl, your agency will be the face and voice of the brand in the states of TX, OK, KS, AR, LA, MS. We work with the Independent Sales Agency Partner to develop and grow the territory responsibly. As an Independent Sales Agency Partner with Rumpl, your agency will:
Embrace the adventure of growing the Rumpl brand within the territory. This means being adaptable and willing to communicate new strategies, programs, products, etc.. with enthusiasm and in a brand-positive manner.
Create excitement & fun around the Rumpl brand through positive retail interactions, engaging product knowledge demonstrations, and participation in retail and territory events.
Be approachable and honest while presenting and representing the Rumpl brand at national and regional trade shows, sales meetings, dealer visits, etc.
Look to the future responsibly by prioritizing the ‘long-haul’ in overall territory development, onboarding new retailers, and developing sustainable and lasting relationships with buyers and retailers.
Make it simple to do business with Rumpl by being the expert in your territory’s business, communicating clearly and concisely, and providing timely responses and solutions.
Promote balance between Rumpl, the retailer, & the independent sales agency partner, ensuring territory business objectives are met while building and maintaining net-positive relationships.
We are an ambitious and successful business. We have fun and we are diligent about achieving brand growth. As an Independent Sales Agency Partner with Rumpl, your agency will be responsible to:
Grow territory revenue and sell through by selling-in regionally and seasonally appropriate product assortments.
Present and sell-in seasonal product lines and submit pre-season orders before order deadline.
Represent Rumpl at regional and national trade shows in Outdoor sales vertical (OR, GOA, etc…)
Negotiate and secure premium retail floor space for Rumpl brand in relation to identified brand and category adjacencies.
Educate retail staff and buyers on Rumpl products, best in class merchandising practices, and the category of Blankets for Everywhere.
Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
Generate and submit sales reports to the National Sales Manager and VP of Revenue.
Create seasonal business plans to increase Rumpl sales and brand awareness through wholesale retailers.
Create & implement strategic and tactical go-to-market plans detailing the specific retailers you will target in the territory & how your agency will engage, serve, and develop new & existing retailers within the territory.
Establish trust and long-lasting relationships with our retailers through open, patient, on-brand, and professional communication so that they love Rumpl, sell Rumpl, view us as a partner, and therefore become a recurring revenue stream.
5+ years of customer facing experience in account management, customer service, and order processing
Organization and attention to detail is paramount
Ability to meet with accounts in-person to host seasonal sell-in meetings and to service retailers
Ability to analyze sell through data, identify patterns, and make adjustments to retailer assortments
Willingness to go above and beyond to represent the Rumpl brand in the best way possible
Have superb listening and communication skills
